Mentors Say...

"I have learned so much from the people I have worked with and have been mentored by them in unexpected ways. By traveling to different sites, I have gained so much knowledge and insight and a wider perspective of what our District offers. This profession has the best people. I am humbled by the work ethic, integrity, dedication, and intelligence of our personnel at all levels."

"The relationship between the Mentor and Candidate is the best part. The mentoring makes a tremendous difference."

"There are so many positives to this program. I have learned many new tools from other teachers just by being part of this. Mentor teachers provide support, but I really feel that Candidates provide fresh eyes, and they are so able and willing to use all that they see to become better teachers. It has been very rewarding to see the growth and excitement on my Candidates' faces as they face each step of this journey."

"[The best thing about Induction is that] improvement and learning seem to be the ultimate goals. I can improve and learn. My students can improve and learn. We can improve and learn from one another. The growth mindset is amazing!"
