During the program, you're provided with a number of school business substitute days to observe other teachers and/or work on your Induction program requirements. Please observe the guidelines for reserving a school business sub. Remember that any full-day sub can be broken up into two half-day subs when needed.

Year One and ECO PTs

  • Two sub days (one each semester)
    • The first should be taken as an observation day in the fall to see at least two other experienced teachers
    • The second can be taken for observation, Induction work, or a combination thereof

Year Two PTs

  • One sub day (either semester)
    • Your full day or two half-days can be taken for observation, Induction work, or a combination thereof
